DENISE HANDFORD

Denise Handford is an experienced Environmental Health Consultant with a decade to date in compliance and a historic food retail background. Denise previously worked in food retail and retail management before diversifying and completing an Environmental Health Degree. She then began her Environmental Health career at Shield Safety Group where she undertook food safety, health and safety audits of differing premises from small pubs to large hotels with leisure. She was also part of the team that onboarded new customers offering training on systems and coordinating services.   

At Mercury Support Denise’s role is to assist our clients with audits and guidance as well as building the company with Dave. Denise is well placed to advise on food safety and health and safety matters from a compliance point of view, with customer service being the key fundamental driver for her and the team.  

It is Mercury Supports primary role to ensure that we are on hand to provide concise and relevant advice in a practical, user friendly format. We are here to help and genuinely don’t want to see any business struggle, particularly because of enforcement action.
